This expressive portrait of an Ardennes draft horse in harness, was inspired by the atmospheric and nostalgic photographs of working draft horse by Gigi Embrechts.
The reins are hand-dyed, vegetable-tanned leather, and there are lots of little handmade details built into the harness, like the real chain in the front.
